Arise with Hope!

We are living in very interesting times in the United States and the world. The crisis of the Coronovirus Covid-19 virus has impacted the lives of millions of people. We have a saying in Latin America: “When the United States has a cold, many countries will have pneumonia.” As we watched the news, we see people who feel hopeless. Many families in the United States have received a stimulus check. Small businesses, nonprofits and churches have received payroll help. But around the world, things are not well. They don’t have jobs, businesses are going bankrupt, and people literally in many parts of the world are going hungry.

Job’s story reminds us that even when things don’t go well, we never can lose hope. He lost everything he owned, his family, his health, his friends betrayed him, his wife asked to curse God. But he said these words, “At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail.” Job 14:8

We hope that we will rise up soon. We desire that things will get better. We long for the world to get back to some kind of normal. It is our prayer that all these things would happen, but above all that we would Arise with Hope. At Global One80, we have launched a special appeal to help families in need in the countries where we are ministering. Would you prayerfully consider giving a donation to our Arise One80 Fund? Many families are in need, and you can make a difference. We need your help!

Each church is independent and autonomous and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority; that, therefore, Church and State must be kept separate as having different functions, each fulfilling its duties free from the dictation or patronage of the other.

We believe that a visible church is a company of believers in Jesus Christ, buried with Him in baptism and associated for worship, work and fellowship.

We believe that to these visible churches were committed for observance “until He comes,” the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper; and that God has laid upon these churches the task of persuading a lost world to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and to enthrone Him as Lord and Master. We believe that righteous living, good works and proper social concern are essential products of the gospel.

We believe, therefore, that those who accept Christ as their Lord and Savior will rejoice forever in God’s presence and those who refuse to accept Christ as Lord and Savior will be forever separated from God.
We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension into heaven, His high priestly intercession for His people and His personal, visible return to the world according to His promise.
