Francisco has been the Founder and Executive Director of Pioneros Internacional Mexico (PIMEX) since 2018. In his role, he oversees the day-to-day operations, recruitment, and training of new missionaries. Also, he trains local churches in their ministry to support local and global missions.
Journey
He was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, in a Christian home. He grew up as a member of the Methodist Church. As a young leader at his church, he was passionate about missions and serving others. He served as his local church’s Sunday School teacher, youth, and mission leader.
In 2007, he enrolled at the University of Chihuahua to study medicine and graduated as a doctor in 2012. After graduation, he decided to minister to the Tarahumara Indians, where he served as a medical missionary. Practicing medicine in the clinic, he worked on the nutrition research protocol for Tarahumara children, opening doors to minister in three different communities.
In 2015, he founded a shelter for people from the tribe in Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua. They provided lodging services, meals, education, and evangelization at this location.
At the end of 2020, God moved him from the mission field to a leadership role in mobilization in missions in Mexico and the world.
He is known among friends as Pako. He is passionate about God, leadership, and missions. He is always pursuing professional improvement. He is an entrepreneur and committed to working with a team. He is proactive and creative in solving problems.
The bible verse that motivates him the most in his walk with God is: “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8 (NIV)
