Focus

Magdiel founded the Dios Soberano Church in San Félix, Venezuela, in November 2017. The city has a population of over 300,000. It boasts a long history dating back to the 18th century and is home to four universities. One of the city’s defining features is the significant number of small businesses in the area. The church places significant emphasis on evangelism in public squares, universities, homes, and the streets.

His current ministry focuses on teaching. He frequently leads workshops on evangelism, preaching, and biblical expositions on masculinity and femininity, aimed at edifying his congregation and sister churches. He also has a deep desire for the unity of the body of Christ and for teamwork. For this reason, he actively supports initiatives that connect various churches in the city to foster fellowship through joint worship services, pastoral mentoring, evangelism campaigns, and social impact activities. He recently launched the Society of Christian Readers, with the purpose of promoting the reading of the Bible and valuable Christian literature in churches, schools, and the city at large.

Journey

Magdiel grew up in a Christian home in Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela, where his father served as a pastor. At age 15, he decided to accept the Lord as his personal Savior. He began his ministry in Tinaquillo, where he supported the youth ministry for nearly two years. At age 18, he returned to his hometown to help his father plant a new church. Later, he joined the Vida Abundante Church while pursuing his studies at a Bible seminary. Magdiel has been married to Keylis since 2016, and together they are blessed with two daughters: Rouse, 5, and Olivia, 3.
