Focus
Hosea and Hadassah are active cross-cultural workers from Cuba. They relocated to the Middle East a few months ago. Since their arrival, they have been focusing on intensive Arabic language study. In doing so, they seek to intentionally form relationships and create discipleship movements among the locals. Among other activities, they concentrate on studying culture and religion and researching the most effective methods in this region.
Journey
Hosea was born in a small town in the westernmost part of Cuba. From his early years, he was involved in missionary and pastoral work. In fact, his parents were the pioneers of the gospel in that area when they founded the first church in their town.
In his adolescence, he received the Lord’s call to missions. At the age of 22, he married his wife, with whom he shared a common dream: to serve the Lord in full-time cross-cultural missions in the midst of Muslim culture. They specifically directed their calling toward the Middle East.
For this purpose, they took courses at digital universities, graduating with degrees in digital media and journalism, photography, and integrated missionary care. Hadassah, too, earned a degree in information science.
In addition, they trained intensively at the Center for Missionary Training (CEMS) in the cross-cultural area of missions. At the same time, they received theological training at Faith Bible College in the category of Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Counseling.
God planted the call in their lives to go on cross-cultural missions, and they responded at their young age. Their greatest desire is to follow the path defined by Christ to bring the good news of salvation to the least reached, and from those places, Christ also receives the glory
