Peter Chinedu Luke is the founder and senior pastor of Pentecost and Power Christian Ministries International, a growing church movement headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. The ministry began as a small fellowship on October 12, 2002, with 60 members and officially became a church on January 1, 2005, with over 200 members. Today, it is known for its vibrant worship, strong biblical teaching, and pastoral leadership.
Under his direction, the ministry has planted six church branches across Nigeria and launched a theological institution—Christ Command College of Seminary and Theological Institute—which has trained over 550 pastors, missionaries, and Christian leaders. The church maintains a strong emphasis on soul winning and evangelism, regularly conducting outreach programs that have led many to faith in Christ.
Journey
Peter Chinedu Luke experienced a divine calling to ministry at the early age of 12. However, without the support of his parents, he initially pursued a secular career, working for 13 years as a production manager at a multinational company in Lagos, Nigeria. During that time, he remained active in Christian fellowship, leading prayer groups and offering spiritual counsel to his colleagues.
God’s call resurfaced powerfully when Peter received three dreams directing him to leave his job and enter full-time ministry. This message was confirmed by two ministers who independently visited him with the same word. Additionally, his company’s human resources director shared a personal revelation affirming Peter’s divine calling. These confirmations led Peter to resign from his corporate role and commit fully to his ministerial path.
Since embracing his call, Peter has faithfully led Pentecost and Power Christian Ministries International, expanding its reach and multiplying its impact. Through church planting, leadership development, and theological training, he has helped shape a new generation of believers and leaders dedicated to the Great Commission. His journey reflects a life surrendered to God’s purpose and passionately devoted to expanding the Kingdom of God.
