Focus
Anna W, originally from the Caribbean Islands, is preparing to serve in Northeast Asia, where she will focus on prayer, humanitarian aid, and outreach among people living in restricted contexts with limited access to the Gospel. She has recently joined Pioneers International and will begin a two-year training program in Asia designed to equip her through language and cultural immersion, some hands-on ministry, and partnership with local believers. This season of preparation will lay the foundation for long-term ministry among communities where Christ is not known.
Journey
Anna’s call to missions began when she was just sixteen years old. Even then, she felt a deep stirring from God to pray for the nations and those who had never heard the Gospel. In obedience to this call, she moved to Asia at the age of 19, where she studied the local language and completed her bachelor’s degree. Living in an Asian culture for the past 13 years has deepened her understanding of cross-cultural ministry.
Over the years, Anna has participated in several short-term mission trips throughout South America and Asia, working within outreach and hospitality teams. These experiences helped shape her global vision and confirmed her calling to serve in regions where access to the gospel is limited.
Anna W. will join a local team that focuses on discipleship, humanitarian aid, prayer, and intercession. Her vision is to see Christ known among unreached peoples through consistent prayer, compassionate service, and meaningful relationships. She hopes to help strengthen local believers and see lives transformed by the hope of Christ in one of the world’s most spiritually closed and challenging environments.
