Focus
Luis Javier Salomón Arias is a Latin American pastor and missionary, currently serving with his wife Kathy as a missionary family established in the city of Bogotá, Colombia. From this country, he develops a ministry focused on biblical formation, pastoral leadership and intercultural mission, with a vision oriented to the strengthening of the Church and cooperation between different expressions of the Body of Christ. Bogotá serves as a strategic base from which it connects with the national church and carries out accompaniment, training and ministerial trips to indigenous regions, the Amazon and lowland areas, promoting an integral, biblical and contextualized mission.
Journey
Luis Javier’s ministerial trajectory has developed mainly in the context of the local church and missionary mobilization. Until January 25, 2026, he served as senior pastor of Más Que Vencedor Church, in the city of Lambaré, Paraguay, a local family church with approximately one hundred members. During this time, his pastoral leadership was characterized by a marked emphasis on discipleship, congregational spiritual life, leadership formation and the active participation of the church in God’s mission, both locally and globally.
In the area of missionary mobilization, between December 2022 and December 2025, he served as Director of COMIBAM Paraguay. From this responsibility, he supported missionary training, connections between churches and organizations, and the strengthening of a biblical view of mission, which helped the growth of the national missionary movement.
He is also part of the Tres Olas movement, where he serves as national coordinator in Colombia. In this role, his main challenge has been to work to reduce the historical gap between the national church and the indigenous church, promoting relations of cooperation, unity and mutual respect.
As for his education, he has a degree in Theology from the Evangelical University of Paraguay, with degree work focused on church planting. In addition, he has received missionary training through programs such as Perspectives of the World Christian Movement, which have profoundly influenced his biblical and strategic understanding of mission. His ministry is distinguished by solid biblical teaching, a deep prayer life and a firm conviction that God continues to work through a Church aligned with His heart and committed to the nations.
