Focus

Abraham and Cynthia are a young family who have answered God’s call to dedicate their lives to planting Gospel-centered churches in northern Mexico. They currently serve in the city of Saltillo, Coahuila, where they are planting the San Agustín Anglican Church, which seeks to be a community rooted in the Holy Scriptures, committed to the historic Anglican tradition, and passionate about making Jesus Christ known.

Their vision is simple yet profound: to faithfully proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, care for people, and see healthy churches that glorify God and transform their communities. They believe that church planting is one of the most effective ways to fulfill the Great Commission and bring the hope of Christ to new generations.

Journey

Abraham was born and raised in Saltillo. From a young age, he heard the Gospel and was discipled within the local church, where he began serving in various ministries. Over time, the Lord confirmed in his heart a calling to pastoral ministry, igniting a profound passion for faithfully preaching Scripture, discipleship, and establishing churches that uphold Scripture, discipleship, and the planting of churches that stand firm in the truth of the Gospel.

Cynthia, originally from Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, fully shares that same calling. Over the years, she has served with love and faithfulness in women’s discipleship, biblical counseling, and children’s ministry. She desires to walk alongside people with the truth and hope of the Gospel, helping them grow in a deep relationship with Christ.

Together, they are convinced that God continues to raise men and women to plant churches where Christ is faithfully proclaimed, believers are discipled, and communities are reached by the transforming power of the Gospel. Their ministry seeks to combine sound biblical teaching, authentic community life, and reverent, liturgical worship within the richness of the Reformed Anglican tradition.

Abraham and Cynthia were married in 2021, and God has blessed them with three children: Sofía, Eduardo, and Emma. As a family, they consider it an immense privilege to serve the Lord together. They long for their home, their marriage, and their ministry to reflect the love of Christ and to be instruments for the advancement of His Kingdom.

They can help with God’s work in Saltillo today, but they know they can’t do it alone. Church planting has always been a task that involves the entire Body of Christ. Therefore, they wish to invite other believers to join this mission, whether by praying faithfully for them or by contributing financially to support the ministry God has entrusted to them.

Their prayer is that, by God’s grace, many people will come to know Christ, entire families will be transformed by the Gospel, and new churches will be established for God’s glory in Mexico.
