Focus

Vicky is actively involved in men’s Bible studies and community outreach through his local church in the United States.

Besides, having recently joined Pioneers, Vicky is preparing to begin a three-month Discipleship Training Program in Tbilisi, Georgia. This program includes sociocultural, anthropological, historical, and geographical preparation prior to deployment to mission fields in Eastern Europe and Asia, particularly in restricted-access contexts where the Gospel is scarce or unavailable.

Journey

Elize was born and raised in a Christian home in Haiti, where his life was shaped early on by faithfulness to God.

In the winter of 2024, while living in the United States, he experienced a strong calling to participate in God’s global mission. While he recognizes that this calling is clearly expressed in Scripture (Matthew 28:19–20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:47; John 20:21; Acts 1:8), he received personal confirmation through a sermon preached by a visiting pastor based on John 4, emphasizing the urgency of bringing the Gospel to the unreached.

Since that moment, the Holy Spirit has continually provided guidance, strength, and empowerment for this calling. As a result, his focus shifted from pursuing further studies in Economics and entrepreneurial goals toward actively engaging in God’s mission through community outreach, church planting, discipleship, and Bible teaching.

God has shaped his character with qualities such as diligence, teamwork, reliability, flexibility, perseverance, and leadership. With a strong ability to build relationships and connect with communities, he is well prepared to serve in advancing the Gospel for the glory of God and the expansion of His Kingdom.

Vicky is the oldest of a humble rural family of three boys and three girls from the southeastern region of Haiti. He is currently a permanent resident of the United States. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics before moving to the United States in January 2020. Recently, he completed a two-year undergraduate theological program at BibleMesh Institute.

In Haiti, he served as a youth minister in his local church for more than ten years, faithfully encouraging young people to grow in their faith through spiritual and sociocultural activities. This ministry bore positive results, as nonbelieving youth were also reached and drawn to Christ. Additionally, he served as a choir singer during that same period.
