Ministry Journey

Mission Storyteller

Ministry Focus

In this generation, video is a powerful storytelling tool. Creatives are vital for missions. Ethan’s mission is to highlight the progress and growth of GlobaOne80. His vision is to tell the stories of missionaries and the people they serve through video. His goal is to make the unseen, seen.

Faith Story

Ethan was born in Tulsa, OK and raised in a Christian family where he learned about God’s love and forgiveness. At an early age, Ethan chose to accept Jesus. His interest in the mission field began in high school when he went on short term mission trips to Mexico. His ministry background includes being on staff as the Broadcast Media Director at two churches: the first in Honolulu, HI and the second in Oklahoma City, OK. While on staff in Oklahoma City, he had the opportunity to film a documentary at a partnered church located in Ulyanovsk, Russia.

Ethan hasn’t always worked in ministry environments. While working covering local news as a photojournalist, he started to realize that he wanted to do more than that. His wife Victoria was born and raised in Guatemala and has been a missionary for 20 years. While Ethan visited Guatemala, he began to realize there was a place for God to use his gifts and talents in the mission field. He realized the need missionaries have to show the impact God is doing through them. He became a missionary with Missions Door, a mission agency, where he served as a videographer, telling the stories of indigenous missionaries in Central America and Cambodia. Also, he led short-term mission trips. His journey has taught him that God is good, His ways are sometimes beyond understanding and we all have a void that can only be satisfied by Him. Now, serving with GlobalOne80, he wants to show how people are being changed by the gospel.
